1. Payment Methods

1.1 In-Person/Online

Visit a nearby CIBC First Caribbean International Bank (CIBC/FCIB) branch or use the CIBC/FCIB mobile app. (Note: CIBC/FCIB branch located in Antigua and Barbuda has discontinued in-person payment services at its counters.)

1.2 Bank Transfer

If the above methods are unavailable, you may transfer funds directly to the Embassy’s account. For international transfers, an additional fee of USD 14.99 (charged by CIBC/FCIB) will apply.

1.3 Important Notes

(1) Payment Timing: Only proceed with payment after receiving the official payment notification from the Embassy.

(2) Transaction Remarks: Include the applicant’s full name in the transfer description/memo field.

(3) Confirmation: Upon completing the payment, promptly submit a screenshot/photo of the payment confirmation to the Embassy’s email for verification.

2. Visa Service

Regular service: 4 working days

Express service: 2-3 working days, an additional fee of 25USD per visa will be charged.

US Dollars only, other currencies will not be accepted.

3. Notes

3.1 Processing Time

Please be noted that the above-mentioned processing time is for normal circumstances. Some individual applications may need a longer processing time. Should this occur, please wait patiently for further notification from the embassy or consulate.

3.2 Visa Fees*

In accordance with the principle of reciprocity, Chinese visa fees for some foreign citizens not applying in their countries of citizenship may be different from those stated above. Please take the Embassy’s explanation as the final authority.

3.3 Reduction

To facilitate people-to-people exchanges, the Embassy of China in Antigua and Barbuda will continue to reduce the visa fees until December 31, 2026. Check the reduced fees here.
