On December 11, 2025, the Chinese Embassy in Antigua and Barbuda held a symposium for representatives of overseas Chinese in Antigua and Barbuda. H.E. Ambassador Jiang Wei attended and exchanged views with representatives from the Antigua and Barbuda Chinese Association.

Ambassador Jiang listened attentively to the entrepreneurial journeys and endeavors of the overseas Chinese representatives, and learned about the organizational structure and development of the Antigua and Barbuda Chinese Association. She spoke highly of the unique role played by overseas Chinese in Antigua and Barbuda in promoting the bilateral relationship.

Ambassador Jiang also encouraged overseas Chinese to actively build a harmonious overseas Chinese community, and to strive to be promoters of Chinese culture, inheritors of China-Antigua and Barbuda friendship, and practitioners of mutual learning between the two civilizations, and reiterated that the Chinese Embassy in Antigua and Barbuda will further deepen the consular service and be a close and caring friend to overseas Chinese.

The overseas Chinese in attendance expressed that they would leverage their unique strengths and serve as a bridge and bond to make contributions to the enhancement of China-Antigua and Barbuda friendship.
