In order to further facilitate the people to people exchange between China and other countries, starting from March 15, 2023 (UTC+8, Beijing time), the visa and entry policies will be readjusted as follows:

I. Valid Chinese visas, issued before March 28, 2020, resume function.

III. The port visa granting offices resume the issuance of all types of port visas.

IV. The following visa-free policies are reinstated:

(1) Hainan visa-free policy;(2) Visa-free policy specified for foreign cruise-group-tour through Shanghai Port;(3) Guangdong visa-free policy specified for foreign tour groups from Hong Kong or Macao SAR;(4) Guilin visa-free policy specified for foreign tour groups of ASEAN countries.
